Funding Usage
Funding will be used to tutor students in reading, math and test prep by Texas Certified tutors, up to 3 times per week based on academic need. This includes curriculum materials, and special programs necessary to get student back on grade level in reading and math specifically, as well as help them prepare for SATs.

Business Plan
Since we are a non-profit, we plan to seek grant funding and advertise via collaboration with our local ISD and social media outlets. We are also open to tutoring online if the business continues to expand to other areas. Our founder, Dr. Mummert has 30 years of teaching experience with proven, consistent, positive results. Her method of customized curriculums for each student's needs has shown evidence of improvement in the areas of math, reading and test prep. Our town of Taylor, is in much need of certified teachers outside of school hours to provide extra help to students who can't afford it. The ISD's testing scores are well below average and our teachers are struggling with their student's socioeconomic issues that extend far beyond academics. Pi shoppe helps relieve some of that pressure, while getting students back to grade level or beyond.

Mathnasium Huntington Learning Center Varsity tutors All of our tutors all CERTIFIED Teachers by the state of Texas with specialties in multiple veins of education. Our tutoring sessions are 100% customized to each student's needs and our prices fall below the other tutoring companies. We want to make this type of educational support available to all children, even if their family's can't afford it. That's why we seek grants.
