Self Identified Competition
2 Dudes Gaming in Elizabethton Tennessee. This store has been in a brick and mortar location for over 15 years. 2 dudes does mainly pokemon cards and video game consoles. They also sell funko pops but that is not the main source of income for this business. Gamestop also sells funko pops but not the vintage and hard to find figures that we sell. They also specialize in new and used video game consoles with little emphasis on funko pops. Hot Topic sells new funko pops but not the specialized ones we sell. They are mainly into clothes and Japanese anime memorabilia. Gamestop and Hot Topic are national chain stores but have a small percentage of the business I am into. Both of these buy directly from the manufacturer so they are the first to get the brand new releases. My business doesn't focus on brand new, we specialize in 3 years old or older funko pops. We sell higher end older stock that has been discontinued so the values hold steady or go up. We also have autographed items that Gamestop and Hot Topic do not carry.
