I plan to use the funding to set up an office space to offer direct tutoring services and parent education around improving student achievement in math and literacy.

Business Plan
I plan to expand my services to offer not only individual tutoring, but data-driven small group instruction to students outside of and during the school day, in partnership with local schools. I have a proven track record of drastically improving student achievement results, in school, private, and community settings, for the duration of my 20 year career in education. In addition, I offer tutoring and instructional coaching services that produce demonstrated results for about half the cost of similar, less results-driven approaches.

Sylvan Learning Centers Tutor Doctor I am results and data-driven, rather than program or curriculum-driven, I have training and experience in using mental health strategies and supports to improve student engagement and achievement, as well as trauma-informed care. This is in addition to being a Reading Specialist, certified Special Education Teacher, and math recovery certified.
