We would like to hire an editor to assist with content production. In order to make our business sustainable and social goals relating to fundraising for traditional arts organizations attainable, our social enterprise needs an editor to assist with back end production so I, as the business owner, can work on content creation.

Business Plan
In the next five years, we see our content growing and specializing in public folklore and pop culture education, in addition to supporting the work of traditional arts organizations through an annual fundraising event online. Hiring an editor and website developer would assist our team's ability to create better and more accessible educational content. We also see our business offering more specified content, honing in our knowledge to offer genre-specific educational series in fun and entertaining ways. This will increase viewership of our distribution streams and connect our customers to communities related to folklore and traditional arts. By the end of five years from now, we will host an annual event focused on celebrating folk and traditional arts through our online platform with the goal of raising funding for an organization related to this subject matter in need of financial support. The core mission of WiseFolk Productions, LLC is to connect communities by celebrating the folklore happening around us every day through digital content creation, public education, and community engagement. Folklore is a humanities discipline invested in the celebration of creative, informal culture that sustains our everyday communities. Many traditional arts, music performances, and community celebrations are underfunded and under prioritized by the larger institutions that dictate much of our world. WiseFolk Productions, LLC has created a network of folklorists who specialize in making traditional arts and culture visible and accessible through entertaining community-curated digital content. Presently, we host several educational shows that are publicly accessible through Twitch and Youtube that center on interviewing folklorists and connecting their interests to video games we share. This show, in addition to our event hybridizing technical services offered to professional humanities organizations, have brought communities together through digital media. We are bringing educational subjects typically siloed into academic fields to the communities that are directly impacted by them. As a social enterprise, we strive to connect traditional arts organizations, folklorists, and artists in ways that make meaningful impacts on our understanding of the world. We want to grow our organization to both connect our audiences through folklore, and additionally reinvest in the organizations that support traditional arts, artists, and culture.

This organization is one of the most widely popular folklore-related podcasts in the entertainment industry. Monstrum - This is a PBS-produced edutainment show hosted by Emily Zarka, PhD. This show takes a deep dive into a new monster each week and explores the legends and folklore related to it. Lore - While they maintain high viewership, this enterprise is not a social one, and does not allow for direct community curation and influence, as in the case for WiseFolk Productions, LLC. Monstrum - Again, what sets WiseFolk Productions, LLC apart is its lack of direct community engagement that we are afforded through the platform, Twitch, as well as our social media management. They also have the benefit of being connected to a network, while WiseFolk Productions, LLC aims to be the network.
