  • Funding Usage

The plan for the funding received will be to help continue to run the business as we are not yet profitable and are building our clientele in order to bring in more revenue. The funding will allow us to continue to move forward in traveling to provide our clients the grooming services we offer as well as being able to pay our groomer.

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years, as we build our clientele and get booked up, we would like to expand the business by getting another truck and grooming trailer or grooming van in order to provide our services into other cities/counties. As a mobile grooming business, we want to be a part of the community. We want to be able to yes, bring in revenue and really make a business out of it, but have relationships within the community and build our clientele based on trust and satisfaction. The business is family owned (by my husband and I) and as of now, we have one employee as our groomer. My husband and I have full time jobs (UPS driver and Police Officer), and the idea to start this business came about when I was pregnant with our daughter. We have 3 dogs and I had to take them to the groomers. One of our dogs won't jump in the car, and I could not pick her up at that time due to her size and me being pregnant. So, we began to look for mobile groomers in the area and found that they were all booked months in advance or were no longer taking in new clients. That is when the business idea was sparked. No, we are not a new invention, but we saw that the industry is a growing industry and took the leap. There is a market for this, and there is money to be made. We just need the right tools for marketing and time to build that clientele in order to profit. We are hardworking, trustworthy and want this business to grow in order to provide more financial stability, for us, our kids, and our groomer. And in the future, as we expand, create job opportunities for others.

  • Self Identified Competition

Paw Control, Kontota, Aussie Pet Mobile There may be a lot of things that are similar between us and our competitors. But like I have mentioned, we want to be part of our community. We want to build and maintain that relationship and trust with our clients, which then translates into those clients spreading the word of our business and potentially gaining more clients. I believe that something that does differentiate us is our pricing. Although our services are a commodity, especially since we bring the grooming experience to the client, we are still fairly priced. We wanted to be able to provide our services without breaking the client's bank. Profit is the goal, of course, but we want to get there by being accessible and not overpriced.
