Funding Usage
If approved, I will use the granted funds to take my Musical Entertainment & Production Business to the next level. Entertainment by D-Bo is a minority owned organization that provides Live Musical Entertainment, Musical Recording & Production, DJ Services, and A/V Equipment Rentals. This For-Profit organization also does several charitable events each year to support the Greater Harrisburg, Pennsylvania community by raising money for causes like cancer treatment, health education and awareness, and combating hunger in local communities. Entertainment By D-Bo isn't just about providing income for its employees, its focus is to improve the overall condition and wellness of the Central Pennsylvania community and beyond, by providing high quality Live Entertainment and Musical Production that produces a product that is positive in message and presentation. This is our mission statement. There is so much media out there that impacts our communities in a negative way. There are live performances and musical recordings that promote violence, profanity, and disrespect. All our live performances and original musical content is free from explicit and vulgar subject matter, is family friendly, and appropriate for people of all ages. My award-winning original musical content promotes subject matter such as love and respect, and brings awareness to topics such as abuse, suicide, and depression.

Business Plan
In the next 5 years I plan on expanding my business in the following ways: 1. To improve my existing facilities for musical recording and production which will enhance production and quality of my private recordings as well as enable the production of outside clients, which I don’t currently have. Currently my recording and production of outside clients is mobile, and I have to transport my equipment to locations outside of my business facilities. 2. Expand my employment base and create jobs by increasing my team of musicians, producers, engineers, and management. 3. Increase my inventory of A/V equipment available for live events and rentals. 4. Expand the global reach of my original award-winning musical catalogue by improving marketing and advertising initiatives. 5. Creating more audio and video content which provides a positive message contributing that positivity into the local community and beyond. 6. Improve transportation, storage, and maintenance of equipment. 7. Expand my entertainment performance and musical content outreach from local to regional, national, and even international audiences. If community matters to the investors, which I am positive it does, then it should be of the utmost importance to invest in entities that will provide a positive impact to the local and state communities where they live. Hopefully, my content will reach the investors and the people they care about, which may include their children, and maybe even their grandchildren. This is an opportunity to ensure that they can take an active roll in increasing the positive musical and live content that they would want their loved ones exposed to.

Self Identified Competition
Without naming specific businesses, my competitors are local Musical Artists, DJs, Live Bands, and Music Recording Studios. I can't think of any Artists or businesses in the aforementioned categories that emphasize the creation and distribution of non-explicit content. In fact, they are responsible for the display and distribution of that which is vulgar and explicit. That is what sets my business apart. My focus is uplifting community and individuals by creating content that is relatable and overwhelmingly positive.
