Funding Usage
We would like to start a Certified Nurse Aide Training program at our current location to try and combat our barrier to hiring quality Caregivers. I will need to expand our current building by approx 10 ft X 20 ft. to meet the facility requirements by the state. This grant would cover initial hiring costs and expansion costs.

Business Plan
Team TLC is expanding our volunteer opportunities within the communities in which we operate and serve, which will likely increase our business opportunities. Also, by expanding our operations to include a training program, we will be able to hire Caregivers directly from the training program. In-Home Care is a trend that will continue to grow as the elderly community expresses their desires to stay within their own homes to age. Children of the elderly population are more willing to assist their aging parents in order to meet their wishes.

Self Identified Competition
Most of our competitors are franchises, which we are independent. It has been our experience that our competitors provide similar services, but sometimes lack in the personal touch portion. Our competitors have much bigger office environments which doesn't offer consistent communication with office staff. We are smaller and more in touch with our clients than most businesses providing the same services. We know each and every one of our clients and Team members. As the owner, I go into the homes and assist with care needs and check in with clients and family members to ensure they are happy with the services we are providing.
