LH Post Massage Therapy 82-2789416 | Government Grant Application

LH Post Massage Therapy | Application Preview

LH Post Massage Therapy is requesting government grants to support its operations and growth. The application details a total of $25,000 in funding, with plans to allocate $8,000 for paying down credit card debt incurred during a recent divorce while maintaining business operations. An additional $12,000 will be used for office repairs to address drainage problems and to install an energy-efficient heating and cooling system. The remaining $5,000 will fund a trip to Norway for further education.

The business plan includes hosting monthly community events to raise awareness and educate the public about the services offered. Additionally, the owner is developing a podcast for broader outreach and is also engaging in teaching to expand her impact.

The funding is justified by the unique position of the business in the industry. LH Post Massage Therapy specializes in integrating shamanic healing into massage therapy, which is not commonly found in the region. This distinctive approach promotes client sustainability and enhances the overall therapeutic experience. The owner aims to expand the practice of shamanic bodywork, fostering a community of practitioners to increase access to this healing method.

As the sole provider of this service in the area, LH Post Massage Therapy claims a competitive edge and a vision to teach others to incorporate shamanic healing into their practices, thereby broadening the reach and significance of this modality in the wellness industry.

  • Funding Usage

8,000 will be allocated to paying off credit card debt which I am struggling to pay down from emergency expenditures in keeping my business open during my recent divorce. ,000 will be used 12,000 for repairs to my office so that I can address drainage issues and install an energy efficient heating & cooling system. 5,000 will be used for my next trip to Norway for more education.

  • Business Plan

I plan on offering a community event once a month for both the purpose of more exposure of my business and create opportunities for people to learn more about what I do. I am in development of my upcoming podcast which will get me on a wider level of exposure as well. I am now teaching as well. Because I am doing work that is at the forefront of my industry. Not many other body workers integrate shamanic healing into their work. It creates more sustainability for the practitioner while allowing the client to experience more from the session. This is a type of bodywork that is very much needed right now and into the future. I want to be able to teach bodyworkers globally how to access this level of healing with their clients.

  • Self Identified Competition

None. I am the only person in my region who does this kind of work. I don't have competitors. I am the only bodyworker who integrates shamanic healing into her work. And this is what I actually want to change. I want there to be more shamanic bodyworkers in my industry so that more people can access this healing modality.
