The Red Brick Tap & Grill | Application Preview
The Red Brick Tap & Grill is applying for government grants to secure payroll funding for their staff during challenging times caused by the ongoing pandemic. Located in the heart of Marion Village in Columbus, Ohio, this small community restaurant emphasizes their commitment to their employees and the local community.
Their business plan includes plans for block parties and catering events, as well as potential patio expansion once the COVID-19 crisis passes. However, the uncertainty of the situation makes it difficult to envision the future, especially with the threat of another shutdown.
The application stresses the personal stake the owners have in the business, with a plea for support to prevent permanent closure. They highlight their unique competitive edge, which includes making food in-house, sourcing locally, and utilizing authentic family recipes. Their dedication to quality and community sets them apart from larger chains and other local eateries. The funding would provide essential security for both the restaurant and its staff through the winter months.
