Offering a consistent schedule and a variety of classes. Offering educational movement workshops and a series of mini workshops. Offering one on one services. Training trainers under me. Potentially leasing out the space to other trainers or practitioners. Offering a unique approach to fitness designed for sustainability and longevity. A part of this approach involves helping clients overcome pain. While the methodology is not new, it is relatively nuance, and there are not many others offering this approach in the local market. We are also offering a space to for movement exploration & play. There are several lectures on this subject matter, and I would be grateful to discuss this in further detail.

  • Self Identified Competition

Crossfit gyms integrating weights and calisthenics have been trending for a while. Yoga Studios, promoting physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines. We are similar in the sense of their being restorative aspect while also developing strength and flexibility. Traditional Gyms offer weight rooms and low membership costs. This is what many people are familiar with. We reframe the "bigger, faster, stronger" and the aesthetic approach by promoting Physical Autonomy. Physical Autonomy is being readily capable of participating in activities as they present themselves. Being able to participate without the fear of a nagging pain or the inability to move properly. We focus on improving attributes that carry over into all of our activities in life. These attributes are strength, flexibility, motor control (coordination), and spacial awareness. Our focus on qualitative movement rather than quantity that we emphasize with a less is more formula. Educating clients to tune into their bodies and become more aware of their capabilities during their practice. Autoregulation encourages clients to dial it down a notch when necessary for the sake of preservation (sustainability & longevity). We educate clients to move with intention by giving proper instruction to discourage them from recklessly pummeling through movements, prioritizing injury prevention. We help them to develop a movement catalog that provides them options as they proceed through their session to better help them adapt to fatigue in a safe and effective manner. The methodology is very beneficial for many people who live in pain and are ready to improve their quality of life. With the rise in crossfit's poppularity, a rise in injuries from overuse and negligence are occuring. Integrating Durable Movement places emphasis on injury prevention by moving safe and effectively. We also offer a modality (Locomotion) that will improve a persons capability in their crossfit practice. Some of our modalities (Locomotion & Exploration) are mistaken for yoga, but there are several differences. One main difference is not being contained to a mat. Another difference is the autoregulation concept, which lends towards sustainability & longevity. Our approach to movement & fitness can also improve one's ability to practice yoga. We are extremely different this weightlifting in the weight room because we use minimal, little to no equipment. This makes our movement practice more accessible to anyone, anywhere. For most, we can support a more functional and capable body practicing in this capacity.
