H&F Transports LLC | Application Preview
H&F Transports LLC is applying for government grants to facilitate business expansion. The funding will be used for several key initiatives, including acquiring additional trucks and a small parcel of land for proper vehicle parking. The company intends to operate as a Non-CDL business initially, allowing them to hire individuals without commercial driver’s licenses, thus broadening their workforce.
The business plan focuses on starting operations with Non-CDL 26-foot straight trucks for over-the-road hauling. This approach aims to attract a diverse pool of candidates eager to gain experience in the trucking industry. As they grow, H&F Transports plans to obtain the necessary licensing to operate both CDL and Non-CDL compliant vehicles.
The application highlights the company's status as a small, minority-owned family business with a strong commitment to supporting the local community and charitable initiatives. The owners, having faced challenges themselves, are dedicated to providing opportunities for others and fostering economic growth in Omaha. They aspire to attract larger freight carriers to centralize operations in Omaha, enhancing distribution efficiency across the country.
Regarding competition, the company identifies a lack of significant competitors in Omaha. Their competitive edge lies in their focus on diversity, customer service, and strong relationship-building skills, coupled with their experience in the banking sector. This unique approach positions H&F Transports favorably in the local market as they seek to establish themselves and contribute positively to the community.

Funding Usage
We plan on using the funding grants to expand our business. We have international carriers who wish to book more loads for our truck but can only haul so much since we only have 1 truck in the business. We also plan to buy a small portion of land, where we can appropriately park the trucks. We plan on only working as Non CDL company for the time being to expand our employee opportunities to those who do not have a CDL but wish to gain experience working over the road. As we continue to grow, we plan on licensing CDL compliant vehicles over the road.

Business Plan
Our current goal is to start with Non CDL 26ft straight trucks for over the road hauling. This starter goal opens and expands the opportunity to find more employees. Many trucking companies require a CDL license, thus lowering our odds of finding strong and ambitious candidates who do not posses a CDL, but would like to work over the road to gain knowledge and experience. As our MC and DOT authority continues to grow. We plan on registering both CDL and Non CDL vehicles over the road. We are a small minority-owned family business with relentless goals to help our local community and charities. As a minority who came from nothing, our heart and mindset will always go towards offering any individual an opportunity and helping its own city grow. As our trucking industry continues to flourishes and grow, we want to help many local communities and small businesses. Our largest goal to to have a more freight carrier loads come into the Omaha metro area, we want large companies such as Amazon to centralize its warehouse to distribute goods across the United States. We are the center of the country with access to deliver freight in half the time compared to other states.

Self Identified Competition
To my knowledge, there are no large or top competitors in Omaha Nebraska. Being a minority-owned business we emphasize our commitment to diversity and inclusivity in our marketing materials and highlight the benefits of working with a diverse business. We want to strive highly on excellent customer service. Having business banker knowledge and experience for over 5 years. I will invest time in building relationships with customers and suppliers. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to meet new people and build your brand.
