Foreman roofing and repair | Application Preview
Foreman Roofing and Repair is seeking government grants to enhance their business growth through a major investment in sales. Currently lacking sales representatives, the company aims to hire 3-5 young, energetic salespeople to engage directly with potential customers via door-to-door outreach. In addition, they plan to allocate funds for promotional materials, including postcards and advertisements targeting local neighborhoods.
The business emphasizes its commitment to community development and maintains a strong work ethic, asserting that their reliability and experience—over 17 years in the industry—set them apart from competitors. They note that their primary competition comes from less experienced individuals, primarily Hispanic, who have entered the market. Foreman Roofing believes that their honesty and dedication to customer service provide a competitive edge that transcends mere skills.
To further strengthen their sales force, they propose that a grant of $50,000 would enable them to hire and compensate sales representatives weekly, ultimately fostering sustainable growth within the company and for the broader community.

Funding Usage
We need to invest in sales to help the business grow. We don’t have no sales representatives. If we can afford to hire young sales representatives to help us out then we will have to invest in tools and equipment.

Business Plan
We plan to hire at least 3-5 young salesmen to go door knocking with the energy of helping us grow. We will have to invest in post cards sent out to neighborhoods and to get ads on magazines that’s sent to subdivisions and neighborhoods. We are a great company to help with the development of the community. Our team is very honest about our work ethic as we strive to improve our business model in a timely manner. We are confident that our customers will continue working with us. If we were fined 50 k for business growing and didn’t have to pay it back we could hire young salesman and pay them weekly for their services.

Self Identified Competition
My only competitor are the Hispanic people that gets all the work. We are a American base company with over 17 years experience and these guys come to our country with no experience work with a company for 6 months and start their business. It’s hard to compete with them because they are overpowered by their skills but I have way more experience than them. We are a honest base company with love for the people. We love to make clients feel valued by our service. We have way more experience than most people roofing but they have took over our construction business and we are American. They could never compete with love, honesty and experience in America.
