Cars 4 Vets/Warriors Haven | Application Preview
Cars 4 Vets/Warriors Haven is seeking government grants to enhance its services for veterans. The funding will be used to renovate a second garage into an additional workshop for more efficient vehicle repairs and to construct five rustic cabins at Warriors Haven. These cabins will include basic amenities like beds, small tables, and chairs, as well as outdoor facilities like a bonfire pit, gazebo, picnic tables, and a barbeque.
The organization plans to increase its outreach by sharing progress on social media and collaborating with various VA facilities that refer veterans in need. This exposure is expected to generate further donations of vehicles from the community, including contributions from veteran organizations like the VFW and American Legion.
The proposal highlights the critical need for support for veterans who struggle with transportation issues after their service, affecting their ability to attend jobs and medical appointments. The applicant, a veteran themselves, emphasizes a commitment to helping peers and creating a supportive environment at Warriors Haven for veterans to connect and share experiences.
Operating in a rural area, they note a lack of competition, providing a unique opportunity to serve veterans without the constraints faced by larger organizations. The applicant underlines their dedication to the cause, stating that they do not receive payment for their efforts, further reflecting their commitment to the welfare of fellow veterans.

Business Plan
I will continue to share my progress on social media and encourage veterans to reach out to me for support. Several VA facilities are aware of what I do and will refer veterans to me. In turn, this advertisement reaches others who want to help and ultimately donate another vehicle. The VFW, American Legion and other veteran organizations routinely make donations in an attempt to help out. I will continue to work on vehicles and with the addition of more garage space, hopefully be able to turn out more vehicles year after year. Veterans often do not get the support they deserve when they are done serving our country or as they age. Many are unable to maintain jobs or go to needed doctor's appointments because they do not have transportation. They are unable to afford to purchase a vehicle and their financial and health care needs suffer. This is something I am able to do to help set them up for success. I myself am a veteran and God has blessed me with the resources to give back to my fellow brothers and sister. With Warriors Haven, it is my hope to provide veterans with an opportunity to come together and share their stories with others who understand. I want to provide them with a safe place to get away and commune with others who know what they went through.

Self Identified Competition
I am in a rural community. I have no competitors that I am aware of. I am unaware of any competitors in my area. If there are any differences I would say that I am small. I do not get paid for what I do.
