I am looking to purchase a Laser machine. With this particular machine, I’d be able to preform Laser Hair Reduction, Active Acne, Skin Rejuvenation/photofacial, Pigmented Lesions, Vascular Lesions. I believe if given the opportunity, I think it would be highly successful, as there is no other place that offers these services in Southeast Iowa. The clients I help currently are looking for something more permanent, and I would love to be able to offer that for them. The machine was quoted at 49,000. I would need to purchase product and supplies as well.

Offering more direct and aggressive treatments. Medical Esthetics is a growing industry, and is expected to grow in the next several years. Offering these sort of services in a more rural area gives more people an opportunity to do services that they would love to do, without traveling hours to get that service done. It would help the economy and the community greatly, keeping people invested in local small businesses. Being able to offer a wide variety of services, makes the clientele grow to a wider audience. I am a hard worker. I’m driven. I’m driven to give my clients the best possible treatment. Giving my clients the confidence boost they need is exactly why I became an Esthetician. I’m invested in what I do, and I’m invested in my clients.

Self Identified Competition
There are few Esthetician’s in my area. One is 30 minutes from my work, she doesn’t offer everything I offer. Nor does she have training or certifications in lasers. Direct competition would be in Des Moines or Kirksville, MO. They are more established, have more locations, and are ran by a team of doctors. I am self employed, with a Medical Director to oversee the medical side of my services. I’m genuinely looking to help people. I listen to my clients and their needs, and make the best decision for their issues. If I don’t know something, I research and help them figure out the best solution to the problem.
