Temple of Restoration | Application Preview
The Temple of Restoration is seeking government grants to fund several initiatives aimed at supporting their community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The funding will be used to provide emergency financial aid to employees affected by the pandemic, hire contractors for overdue building maintenance due to a significant water flood, and secure a business loan for the development of the TORCH Elite Center (TEC).
The TEC is envisioned as a community center that will offer employment opportunities, comprehensive counseling services covering financial, marital, addiction, and mental health issues, along with recreational activities. The center will also include year-round tutoring and youth sports programs for students of all ages, and will serve senior citizens, disabled veterans, and military families.
The business plan emphasizes promoting this vision through social media while actively engaging with the community as a pastor and mentor. The TEC will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including basketball courts, classrooms, libraries, food courts, and daycare services.
The application highlights the organization's consistent efforts to uplift families and youth in Central Texas. With over 40 hours of volunteer work each week as a basketball coach, the leader provides mentorship and support to troubled youth, fostering hope and leadership.
The Temple of Restoration does not view other local entities as competition but rather as community partners, emphasizing that their main goal is to enhance communal welfare. Their unique focus on improving lives and providing hope sets them apart in their mission to contribute positively to the community.
