  • Funding Usage

I am currently looking to expand into Art Prints. In order to begin I would need to purchase inventory and supplies to begin working the Arts Faire circuit. -3k I have just moved into a new space and need to purchase signage and promotional items to let new clients know where I am. I also need to complete furnishing for the new studio. - 2k I am looking to build relationships with local therapists and self care brands to grow into the eventual longterm goal of creating a self care network. I would be looking to purchase catalogs and brand packets to accomplish this. - 1k

  • Business Plan

In the next 5 years my goal is to connect with other Self Care businesses ranging from therapy, to personal training, to stylists (makeup and hair) and brands of the like to create a network of self care and self growth. My hope is that in 5-10 years I will be able to have a freestanding building dedicated to multiple brands and businesses working together to that end. Using both Creative and Boudoir photography I have had so many clients grow and truly discover sides of themselves that they hadn't given proper attention to in so long. It's truly inspiring to watch photography build people up and I would like to continue doing that with like minded individuals long term. I have been working multiple jobs since I was 15 years old. I have spent more than half of my life taking classes, working and making connections with various industries and have been building this business trajectory as my goals for over a decade. Due to my own multiple health issues and caring for my father who suffered from dementia for many years I was unable to take the risk of opening my own business. After losing my father during Covid and spending the months in lockdown trying to find ways to improving my own health I decided to open in November of 2020. With minimal funding to start up I have built my business from renting a small refurbished chicken coop to renting a beautiful private space. I am a published photographer and I have loyal clients who return to me for various styles of shoots and events. I constantly study not only aspects of photography, but business and budgeting as well. I am always evolving and I am focused on creating a business that will make up for the time I couldn't take the risk before. I think investors will appreciate that every cent will go towards creating the short term accomplishments that will be the foundation for my long term goals.

  • Self Identified Competition

My long term goal is a unique one that is not currently offered. Photography as a business is a saturated market. To mention just 3 would be tough to narrow down. Since I focus my business in a broader sense I tend to look to my area competition for different things. Some of them are very good at social media and marketing, some of them have fantastic talents with lighting and overall product, some are extremely creative and put together unique experiences for clients and the list goes on. I try to make sure I am aware of as many talented professionals in my field as possible so that I can continue to grow in my own way. I focus my business on offering unique photographic opportunities. I have held events where clients have the chance to experience a full model like shoot with various concepts. Our themes have included Full Victorian Dress where we worked with a designer to create the outfits, Vikings, the Seven Deadly Sins, Coven of witches and many more. While boudoir photography is available in multiple styles in our area I like to focus my business on making the experience comfortable and freeing. In a market that is typically geared at women in their early 20s, my business tends to bring in clientele ranging from late 20s to mid-40s on average. I like to create the space that makes the sessions about having fun and really loving the skin they're in, without feeling like they're competing with anyone. I love working with women who are at so many different stages of life.
