  • Funding Usage

We would intend to use the grant funding, if awarded, towards equipment, tutoring and scholarships. Our program would accept restricted funding for a designated area of our membership interest if awarded as long as it aligns with our organization's mission and values. We would ensure that the restricted funding is used solely for the designated area and fully report on its use to the grant provider. The Idaho Allstar Legacy Foundation will be using the funds (if granted) to purchase a number of items to help the youth advance their educational opportunities. We would purchase 4 laptops, a printer, educational books, 3 calculators, 2 desks, 4 office chairs, 4 headphones and a television. We currently do not have enough equipment for the amount of students we are tutoring. The equipment that we would be able to purchase with these funds would allow for our tutors to provide more learning opportunities for each athlete.

  • Business Plan

We welcome the chance to collaborate with local sponsors and partners to enhance our programs and facilities, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage youth development. Our goal is to establish mutually beneficial partnerships that enable us to offer high-quality training and competitions, while also promoting the values of hard work, dedication, and community service. By providing our specific services to the adolescents of our community we are aiming to see an increase in GPAs, for the participants to gain a better awareness of themselves and their identity, increase their self worth, reduce drug and alcohol use, and recognize their strengths as an individual. Our desired outcomes would be to also help create a strong foundation for our youth in areas of health that have been severely depleted in the last two years due to the pandemic. Idaho Allstars is excited to explore opportunities to expand our reach in the community and develop new partnerships that align with our mission of promoting athleticism, teamwork, and self-confidence in young athletes. We are committed to building strong relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to create a supportive network that benefits both our athletes and the wider community. By providing resources that support academic and athletic achievement, we are helping to build strong, healthy communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. All too often, financial barriers can prevent students and athletes from reaching their full potential, and our foundation helps bridge this gap. Through our various programs and initiatives, we look to help countless adolescents from across the state to achieve their goals and fulfill their potential. Whether through providing equipment, coaching, travel costs, or by offering free academic tutoring, the Foundation is truly prioritizing making positive differences in the lives of many young people. Our foundation finds it crucial to have an intentional approach that addresses and mitigates racial and economic disparities as part of its overall mission. This involves implementing strategies that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion, such as creating policies and practices that promote equal access to opportunities, collaborating with underrepresented groups and communities, and fostering a culture of empathy and respect. Partnering with organizations and individuals that advocate for equity and engaging in continuous learning and dialogue to address issues of racial and economic injustices are also essential steps that our program has taken towards achieving their mission of creating a just and equitable society.
