Funding Usage
We will use funding to staff our organization, offer free tutoring, therapy, traveling expenses to get families to the program and for renting space for the programs our organization will offer. We will use a portion to market the programs and supports we offer.

Business Plan
We plan to grow our business by pulling on our relationships we are building with schools, churches, community centers, libraries, city officials and community leaders to target students and families that need our services. We are also working with marketing ad to post ads on social media. Investors should invest in our organization because we have a passion to help low-income students and families in urban areas. Our organization wants to service families that need support in the home or within the school. Our organization aims to service the whole family by offering after school tutoring and parent classes. While students are tutoring we offer adult basic education for parent to acquire their high school diploma, job readiness (resume, cover letters, job searching and clothing. We want to be able to offer small meals as well. A lot students struggles and behavior has a lot to do with what is happening at home or in the community. Our organization have a "Bridge the Gap" program in which tutor/ mentors reach out to teachers and principals to see how they are doing in school and support parents and school. We also have a therapist available to work with families and students that struggle with post-traumatic stress due to abuse, neglect, bullying or violence in the neighborhood.

Self Identified Competition
The competitors in the areas we service is Kumon, Just Right Tutoring and serval tutoring organizations. They all offer after school tutoring. What makes our organization different is the whole child approach: reaching out to everyone one that touches the child i.e family, school. We offer support for parents. We offer emotional support for the child and the family as well. We understand there are other factors that impede student academic success.
