Funding Usage
I have been in business by myself for YEARS (2007 to present). I am seeking help to take my business, and the local businesses I work with to the next level via an immersive training, mentorship and a community of expert level support to help me implement my local directory to grow local business. Through this mentorship program, not only do I get proven strategies to grow my business and the business of others, I also get access to powerful software, plus the complete company ‘Bible’, and Standard Operating Procedures which allows to me to now hire and employ others to work in my agency, giving others in my local area work they can do remotely: ie, stay at home moms, those with physical limitations, those with transportation issues can now work remotely and build their family economy as well. I can also hire and mentor young high school/college students to help local business thrive. Basically, this program mentors me from an independent contractor to a local agency that can truly impact my local area of Kauai.

Business Plan
I plan to grow my business in the next 5 years by expanding my ability to help more local businesses through a proven, systematic approach. Initially, my target it the island of Kauai, but I am able to eventually grow to all of Hawaii. Because I will have the ability to scale through training and mentorship, I will hire more people to handle the various parts of my business and continue to grow as I help support others. I plan to grow to the point that I have hired people to handle all aspects of my business. I'd like to be able to not just rely on Virtual Assistants from places like the Philippines but hire people in my local area. This business model can be modeled and duplicated by those I hire if they choose. I believe I am a good investment because I have been working on my business for YEARS (2007 to present) and never gave up. I have experience with for profit and non-profits here on the island of Kauai. I have a love for Hawaii, especially Kauai and truly want to help other business succeed - especially small business owners. Money is tight here in Hawaii and business owners are struggling with all aspects of their business. By growing and scaling my agency, I am able to provide very affordable, innovative ways to grow business without stressing the business owner. I have a background in Law Enforcement and believe that honesty and integrity are core character values, and I possess both and more. By investing in me in this small way, investors are helping to support a local economy that struggles daily to make ends meet. I am able to handle the ongoing, recurring costs of my business, I just need this one investment to position me to have solid skills to run a professional business/agency. I am willing to admit that I need guidance and mentorship in this area, especially as it pertains to SOP's on how my business runs, and how to train others to carry on the business and empower them to be successful too.

Self Identified Competition
There are several digital marketing agencies on Kauai, but I don't believe anyone else is considering and building out the local directory as I am. I also have innovative strategies to grow business using birthday and anniversary celebrations and no one else is doing that here. Other agencies focus on core marketing: website, social media, SEO, etc. I am taking it even further by offering free profiles on my directory and paid profiles for those able and willing to pay $99/year. Initially at startup, I will award 5 premium memberships for free. As mentioned in previous statement: There are several digital marketing agencies on Kauai, but I don't believe anyone else is considering and building out the local directory as I am. Most focus on the key marketing strategies of website, SEO, social media, etc. With my project, no business will be left out. If they can't afford, or choose not to spend $99/year, they'll still have a profile the directory and they still get views of their business. I will be the one to market (ad spend on me) the directory to both locals and visitors. Eventually, I'll build in coupon offers for businesses who want to offer coupons to entice business. I can even track the ROI on coupons/ birthday/anniversary offers and show the business exactly how we grew their business. Through my VIP program, I can create lists for a business which allows them to re market to existing customers by email and SMS, any time they need to ramp up business, etc. Most business owners are just TOO busy to do all of these things that I am able to automate and complete for a very low, affordable, fee. I am not getting rich of any business, but I am helping many sustain their business, and also sustaining myself through small profit margins to help cover my own business expenses. I can also provide more in-depth marketing services if a company needs it which is where I have potential of increasing my revenue through things like website builds, etc. If a business does not need that sort of help, they still benefit from the directory. I have already built up a social media page on Facebook to over 1100 people and growing and doing the same on Instagram. I can now promote local business on my directory to my existing audience. Premium listing will have additional items like: Video ad, Blog, Google Business Resource, and more.
