Warrior Wellness | Application Preview
Warrior Wellness is seeking a total grant of 4,000,000 to support operations for the next ten years through three main projects: securing land, building facilities, and providing services to clients. As an established non-profit, the organization is taking over contracts with the VA for veterans and aims to extend its outreach in Southwest Missouri, Western Oklahoma, and Southeastern Arkansas.
The business strategy involves individual fundraising efforts, local community engagement, and partnerships with groups like VFWs, law enforcement unions, and first responder associations. Warrior Wellness plans to showcase Equine Assisted Therapy through public events and build collaborations with other non-profits for joint initiatives, allowing for an expansion of services and access to more clients.
The proposal emphasizes the urgent need for mental health support among veterans, law enforcement, and first responders, who often face high rates of PTSD, depression, and anxiety. The organization's founder, a veteran himself, highlights the therapeutic benefits of equine interactions, which can foster hope and facilitate healing for individuals and their families.
While acknowledging a few competitors, Warrior Wellness views them more as colleagues in the shared mission of providing quality mental health care through equine therapy. The organization believes it can become a leading provider of these services, focusing on delivering top-notch care and innovative therapeutic practices to meet the needs of this underserved population.

Business Plan
We are a succeeding Non-Profit organization in which we are taking over the contracts with the VA for veterans already. We plan to promote and expand our outreach to others in need in Southwest Missouri, Western Oklahoma, and South Eastern Arkansas. We have a plan individual fundraising drives and events. We plan to get involved with the local communities, VFWs, Law Enforce Unions & Groups, and First Responder Union & Groups. We are going to make public appearances where Equine Assisted therapy can be presented and visualized. We have made movement toward building strong relationships with other Non-profits and will be focusing on some joint projects together to reach and meet our goals. Eventually we can add additional therapists allowing us to see more clients. Everyday a Veteran, Law Enforcement member, or a First Responder put or have put themselves in harms way. Dedicating lifetime commitments to their communities and neighbors. We want to be able to assist them in their journey as for some of them have battled and struggled to cope with the things they have dedicated their lives too. Mental Health for these particular groups is at an all time high with suicide, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Many times have no outlet or way to cope or have a way of believing in hope. Me being one of those veterans that have been there, I relate to this more so then ever. Being able to talk with and interact with a horse is not only therapeutic but it sets the member on a learning journey. A journey that teaches a positive outlook and a healthier mental fortitude. It helps with families with the struggle to understand and coping. The impact of mental health for these groups and their families can be significantly changed with the right help. We just want to give back to them as much as they have given so unselfishly themselves.

Self Identified Competition
There possibly could be a couple other competitors so to speak, but we do not see any other mental health care with equine therapies as competitors rather than colleagues. We are all focused on the goal of supplying the quality service and attention these groups deserve. I do believe that we will be the premiere non-profit to provide these services. Our organization will go beyond the the theatre of war or the everyday for these members and give them not only an outstanding experience but the quality of care they deserve. If fully funded, we will provide services to as many members and their families as possible. We are focused on getting the awareness out to the community and delivering the most up to date equine therapeutic methodologies to those in need.
