  • Funding Usage

We will need the ability to pay for our Volunteers many hours of research. We will also need to help the offset our out-of-pocket expenses that include Volunteer hours, Attorney costs, internet expenses, telephone costs, postage and mailings, notary services and Volunteer training. We want to setup specific Volunteers in each state with specific training as to the unique individual County claim requirements.

  • Business Plan

Each year there thousands of folks that have no idea that there are Surplus funds that belong to them. Many states have convoluted rules that must be followed often with deadline dates. If these dates are not met, then the Counties or State keep this money to fund their County or State projects. We would like to hire and pay our volunteers a decent wage so that they can continue their research. We want to grow our Volunteer staff to be able to reach the thousands of people that lose their homes weekly. Our goal is to successfully reach One Thousand displaced families per month. Our simple mission is to research, locate, and fulfill our mission. This goal is to help these folks that are most often without work or a permanent home (due to hardship issues.) This is the ethically the right and just thing to do. Without funding assistance, we are limited to using our personal money to continue. We do not receive any outside assistance. This problem is a relatively unknown issue, as most folks, including Realtors do not know that this problem exists.

  • Self Identified Competition

There are many businesses that do work this issue, often taking anywhere from 20 to 80% of the clients money upon refund completion. There are hundreds of people that attempt to work this problem, often through paid online courses. Simply researching "Excess fund business" online can generate numerous courses on how to profit in this business. As a 501c3 non profit organization, we do not charge for our services. Yes, we can ask for donations from our clients. We occasionally do this if our personal funds are limited or excessive Attorney fees are expected. But, our primary goal is to simply help folks who have lost their home. Plain and simple. And, yes, the prior homeowner can personally file for themselves. Sometimes this happens. But most of these folks no longer trust their County or State.
